Nicole and Sean were married on October 5th at a beautiful rustic barn wedding at Wood Acres Farm in Terryville, Connecticut. The day of was beautiful and warm for an Autumnal wedding and the leaves were just beginning to pop with color. I first met Nicole and Shawn at the very end of the summer for their engagement session, which included their two year old daughter, Amelia and Nicole’s oldest daughter, twelve year old Penelope.
Getting ready with Nicole was an elegant and simple morning, where Nicole did her own hair style for her wedding! Nicole also did her daughter Penelope’s hair for the occasion and Nicole and her two daughters all wore the sweetest cowgirl boots with their dresses. Nicole and her girl’s arrived to the ceremony behind the barn by a horse drawn carriage.
Amelia was an adorable flower girl and Penelope stood by her mom’s side during the ceremony. During the reception, guests enjoyed carriage rides, hors d’oeuvres, a bar with custom beverages and conversations on the large wrap around porch. Children played on the lawn and Penelope gave a heartwarming and funny speech in honor of her mom and new step-dad.
The photos below are just a small preview of the incredible moments experienced during their special day. Nicole and Sean, congratulations!
