Jess and Tyler were married at Bill Miller’s Castle on November 3rd. It was the most beautiful late autumn day and the perfect setting for their wedding. I had the honor of going to school with Tyler and Jessica and they were a year ahead of me in school. While I unfortunately did not know Tyler very well at the time, I remember looking up to Jess as the cool older girl in school who was also so kind and creative. After all these years she is just as kind and creative as I remembered and I am still looking up to her. Jess and Tyler, we are all so very happy for you. Congratulations on your special day.
Bill Miller’s castle was the perfect setting because it is a very eclectic and enchanting venue. This works so beautifully because Tyler and Jess did not choose one key theme for their wedding day; instead they chose a collection of all the things that they love and enjoy from books and games and places (featured on the tables at the reception), Lord of the rings (look for the details at the ceremony), their cat Luna (who makes the cutest cameo on top of their wedding cake), Sailor Moon, video games, Beauty and The Beast (take a look at their ring box), and so much more. Like a scavenger hunt, you can find elements of Jess and Tyler in every detail. The venue is very much the same with collections of art, antique furniture, and surprising decorations in every room. The venue was just as enchanting as the couple themselves. I took so many photos of every detail, I only wish that I could share them all.
Jessica’s sister Krissy did an incredible job as the hairstylist for the wedding and her friend Bona did beautiful makeup for the ladies as they were getting ready for the day.
Instead of ring bearers, there was “ring security.”
A tale as old as time…
I took so many portraits and photogrpahs at the wedding day and I unfortunately cannot share them all in one blog post. If there is a family portrait, ceremony photo, bridal party image, photo from the reception, or group picture you remember, I will be giving them all to Tyler and Jessica. If you do not see the family photo you were looking for below, I promise that it will be with the final collection.
“Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” -Sailor Moon
At the ceremony there was a symbolic binding ceremony.
Each table had it’s own unique theme.
There was also a hot chocolate bar.
Congratulations, Jessica and Tyler!
