Catherine & Jeffrey | Raymond Family Farm Wedding

Catherine and Jeffrey were married at The Raymond Family Farm in November. I am so happy to be able to share a highlight of their special autumnal day, including beautiful behind the scenes moments from getting ready until the end of the reception. There are hundreds of more photos that are not in this blog post. I think one of the most challenging things as a wedding photographer is choosing which photos to share to tell the story of the day. There were so many heartwarming and lovely moments from Catherine and Jeff’s wedding. I hope that you enjoy this behind the scenes look into their wedding day.

The day began with many family and friends chipping in to help set up the venue for the ceremony and reception. The fact that so many loved ones participated in making sure their day was beautiful goes to show how loved Catherine and Jeff are. I first met Catherine many years ago because she is the sister of one of my childhood best friends, Ben. I have looked up to Catherine for a long time and it was an absolute honor to photograph her special day and to meet Jeffrey, who has captured her heart.

Jeff and Catherine arranged for a special beverage and snack station before the ceremony.

A memorable moment of the night was when RJ the DJ made an announcement that he was going to play a song and it was our mission to take a photo of the bride and groom with every table group before the song ended. What ensued was a fun dash around the reception hall to each table so that everyone got a picture with the newlyweds. I highly recommend this fun table shot alternative to anyone getting married. It was fast, but we did it.
