Brittney & John | New England Apple Picking Engagement

Brittney and John are getting married next spring! We spoke a few times on the phone before their engagement, but their session was the first time we met in person. They are even more lovely in-person and it was such a joy to capture this moment of their love story. Apple orchard engagements are my favorite. I love the crisp apples and the vibrant colors in an orchard on an overcast day. Is there anything more romantic during autumn in New England?

Woodstock Orchards is one of my personal favorite apple orchards, and it was a perfect spot to start Brittney and John’s engagement session. It was fun to discover that this was also John’s first time apple picking. I am so glad that they have this brilliant new memory together. Engagement sessions should be fun and I hope the couples I photograph look back at their engagement session with happiness. There is just something so romantic about autumn in an orchard.

The second half of the engagement session was captured at Taylor Brooke Winery just down the road from the orchard. This is one of John and Brittney’s favorite wineries. We arrived just as the sun was beginning to set. It ended up being a perfect ending to the day. You can see how much Brittney and John love each other in these photos. Brittney simply glows when looking at John. As a photographer who has photographed many couples, I can see true chemistry and I know that John and Brittney will have a love that will last a lifetime.
