Sara and Patrick | Topsmead Engagement Session | Connecticut Wedding Photographer

It was an honor photographing Sara and Patrick’s engagement session at Topsmead. We were fortunate to capture the very last of the vibrant autumn leaves. Sara and Patrick brought along their enthusiastic dog, Presto, who was graciously watched by their close friend, Kendra, between photos. The dog watchers are always the unsung heroes at engagement sessions that include the couple’s dogs. Kendra not only kept Presto busy in photos when he was not included, but she also helped catch his attention to make him look towards the camera.

With such a busy autumn season I am so happy we found such a beautiful afternoon. The second half of the engagement session was photographed at White Memorial. As the sun began to set it started off grey and cloudy and turned into the most surprising burning sunset. Sarah and Patrick, it was so lovely to meet you and I am looking forward to celebrating your wedding with you this December.
